Course Description:

Do you need help to take care of your back but don’t want to keep paying for massage, physio or osteo treatment? Do you want a trusted practice that you can use whenever you need a Yoga for BackCare top-up?

Back pain is really common – about 40% of us have it. It happens because of injuries, stress, imbalance & more. Thankfully the practices of Yoga – movement, breathing, relaxation – can make powerful changes. Research shows that practicing the right type of yoga can help to reduce pain, improve function and more.

Join BackCare Expert, Anji Gopal – an internationally-known Osteopath & Yoga Teacher who has spent a decade helping people with back pain in hospitals, clinics and studios. Anji runs her own clinic in London and for 7 years ran a programme using Yoga as a treatment for chronic low back pain in a London NHS hospital.

Anji’s 3-part series brings together all her knowledge, experience & expertise from the clinic – to help keep you out of it!

You will learn how to rebalance, to build strength, to improve health and also to rest. The practices include movement, breathing, stretching, strengthening & relaxation.

“When it comes to back pain, prevention is better than cure & by practicing Yoga for BackCare my patients and students find their health to be transformed.”

The 3-part series comprises:

Part 1 – 45mins – BUILD – a practice to build strength and flexibility – in a safe way

Part 2 – 30mins – MAINTAIN – a shorter practice for days when you need to do something, but time is limited – this will keep things on track.

Part 3 – REST & RESET – stress and tiredness can contribute to back pain. This longer class gives time for your whole body and spine to enjoy a full practice and relaxation.

Together, this series delivers a total home practice. You will feel in control of your back and will learn to move more, worry less and feel strong
